General Information
Q: How will I get my tickets if I order over the phone or online?

A:  Tickets ordered over the phone or online may be received as mobile tickets if you have a smartphone and your party will be arriving together.  However, tickets ordered via phone through the box office can be printed.  Please notify the box office assistant taking your payment that you would like to have your tickets printed and held in Will Call.  You may pick them up at the box office with a valid picture ID during regular business hours or when you arrive prior to the event.

Q: How do I pick my tickets up that are being held at Will Call?
A: All ticket orders received fewer than 15 days before the performance will be held at Will Call located in the Ticket Office. Please arrive 30-45 minutes prior to the published start time of the performance. Picture ID is required and tickets will only be released to the patron who ordered the tickets (unless prior notice is given to the Ticket Office of your designee.)

Q: What do I do if I have lost or misplaced my tickets?
A: If you can't find your tickets, call the Ticket Office at (309) 434-2777 to have duplicate tickets waiting for you at Will Call. Duplicate tickets will not be mailed. Picture ID is required at pick up and tickets will only be released to the patron who ordered the tickets (unless prior notice is given to the Ticket Office of your designee.)

Q: Can I purchase gift certificates for the BCPA?
A: Unfortunately The BCPA is not offering Gift Certificates at this time.

Q: Can I receive a refund for my ticket(s)?
A: Due to the nature of the performing arts, programs and artists are subject to change. Refunds are given only in the case of an event cancellation or date change. Handling fees are not refundable. All refunds must be transacted no later than 48 hours prior to a rescheduled performance date.

Purchases on a credit card will be refunded to the original card when refund is requested by patron. Purchases that were made by cash or check will only be refunded by a City of Bloomington check and could require a couple of weeks to process. Once a request is made for a cash or check transaction refund, the City of Bloomington will mail a check to the purchaser once the refund is processed. A purchase made by a credit card that has expired or is no longer valid, will also be refunded by a City of Bloomington check. Refunds can also be made to a BCPA Gift Certificate.

Q: What happens if my check is returned?
A: Checks returned for insufficient funds will have a $30 service fee.

Q: What other fees and taxes will I pay when I purchase a ticket?
A: All ticket prices include a $1.00 building restoration fee and the City of Bloomington Amusement Tax. All internet tickets include a $1.00 per ticket building restoration fee and a $5.00 order fee. If you call the ticket office there is a $5.00 order fee. If you come to the ticket office and buy tickets at the window, there are no order fees.

Q: What happens if I am late to a performance?
A: The BCPA reserves the right to hold late seating based on the artist’s preference or until it is determined that late seating will be the least disruptive to the artists and our audiences.

Q: Do young children require a ticket?
A: All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket for entry. We cannot allow small children or infants entry without a ticket. Our ticket office staff will be happy to answer any questions you may have regarding child-appropriate performances.

Ways to Save

Q: Does the BCPA offer ticket discounts?
A: Yes! Experience even more of the programming that interests you with our 4Shows+ discount on selected shows. You can order as few as one ticket or as many tickets as you like for each show--just be sure to order FOUR or more SHOWS to take advantage of our 4Shows+ subscription discount. Once the initial FOUR shows are ordered, come back anytime throughout the current season and utilize the 4Shows+ discount for each subsequent show (where applicable).*

* 4Shows+ discounts cannot by applied to previously purchased tickets. 4Shows+ Discount prices do not apply until tickets have been purchased to at least four BCPA shows. If total purchases to BCPA events exceeds four shows over the course of a season, the 4Shows+ discount will apply only to purchases made above the four show threshold. No refunds are available if 4Shows+ discount is NOT selected at time of original online purchase.

* 4Shows+  savings apply only to non-discounted ticket prices. Seniors should also select 4Shows+ prices when ordering tickets to four or more events. 4Shows+ discounts do not apply to every event, but every BCPA event counts toward the four-show threshold.

Other discounts such as Youth, Student, Military or Group Discounts may apply. Contact the Ticket Office for more information.
